Description As a Solutions Architect, you'll be dedicated to supporting our government client's technology initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative, secure, and scalable IT solutions that address complex challenges faced by our government clients. Your expertise will be critical in aligning technology strategies with the client's mission and objectives while ensuring the highest standards of security, compliance, and efficiency. Responsibilities Collaborate closely with government stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to understand business needs, goals, and requirements. Lead the design and development of comprehensive, end-to-end technology solutions that meet functional, non-functional, and security requirements. Apply DODAF viewpoints and views to capture and communicate solution architecture. Ensure compliance with INCOSE standards and guidelines throughout the system development lifecycle. Create architectural diagrams, models and documentation in accordance with DODAF to communicate system and operational designs effectively. Provide hands-on technical leadership, guiding development teams in implementing complex solutions. Mentor and coach junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team. Ensure architectural consistency and adherence to best practices across projects. Conduct regular meetings and presentations to update stakeholders on project progress, technical decisions, and potential challenges. Collaborate with senior management and government officials to define long-term technology strategies that align with the client's mission and goals. Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Integrate robust security measures and compliance requirements into solution designs, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive government data. Enable the evaluation and selection of third-party technologies, tools, and vendors that support project goals. Provide oversight throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that architectural designs are executed as planned and addressing any deviations or challenges. Required Qualifications DoD Secret clearance.Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). At least 10 years as a Solutions Architect, with a significant portion dedicated to government projects or clients. Experience designing and architecting various solutions including large-scale DoD projects with an emphasis on design. In-depth knowledge of government technology standards, regulations, and security requirements. Strong expertise in solution design, system integration, and architecture patterns. Knowledge of structured analysis and object-oriented design with the flexibility to apply either based on the solution requirements. Proficiency in a wide range of technologies and platforms, both established and emerging. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Master in Microsoft Visio and linking data with shapes and models. Desired Qualifications Group facilitation.Public speaking.Proficiency in drawing tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or Corel Draw.Relevant certifications such as DODAF or TOGAF or similar.MBSE certification.INCOSE system engineer certification. Additional Information Candidates must be willing to submit to a background check before employment. Physical requirements for this position include the ability to lift 25 pounds regularly, the ability to move safely in confined spaces, the ability to wear personal protective gear correctly when needed, the ability to go onsite to company and customer worksites, the ability to remain seated for extended periods, the ability to use a computer keyboard, and the ability to see and respond to dangerous situations when needed.
