Partners General Insurance Agency, LLC, a subsidiary of K2 Insurance Services, LLC, is seeking a full-time Renewal Underwriter to join their underwriting team in the Richmond, VA area. This is an office hybrid position. The successful candidate will reside in or near Richmond, VA. Founded in 2001, Partners General is a managing underwriter for general liability and excess liability programs offered in all 50 states. Acquired by San Diego-based K2 Insurance Services in 2018, Partners General continues to expand its product offerings by developing new insurance programs for national distribution.Partners General offers the opportunity to join an established company in growth mode. Renewal Underwriter Role: This is a full-time, hybrid role for a GL and XS Renewal Underwriter at Partners General Insurance Agency LLC located in Glen Allen, VA, with flexibility for some remote work. The GL and XS Renewal Underwriter will be responsible for underwriting renewals of General Liability and Excess Liability policies while maintaining excellent relationships with customers and brokers. They will participate in strategy and planning meetings, analyze data, negotiate pricing and coverage, and work collaboratively with other underwriters and departments to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. Qualifications At least 3 years of experience in underwriting, especially in General Liability and Excess Liability policies Solid knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance industry, including regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures Superb analytical, decision-making, and negotiation skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to collaboratively work with other teams and departments to ensure a seamless flow of work Good track record in maintaining successful relationships with customers, brokers, and other stakeholders Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and passion for delivering top-quality work Education/Experience : Required degree: BA college degree preferred but not necessary Required years of experience- 3+ years of prior experience underwriting Commercial General Liability and / or Excess Liability Other requirements: Comprehensive understanding of insurance policies and ability to relate policy provisions to loss exposure Ability to be in the Richmond, VA office 2-3x a week (Highly Preferred) Pay: 80,000 USD yearly Compensation details: 80000-80000 Yearly SalaryPI1d035433e1a7-29448-33431878PDN-9bca8282-0d60-481f-857d-3081697a05bd
