You’ll hone your sales skills by forging strong relationships that serve as the foundation for our firm’s prestige, and we’ll give you the support you need to reach your earning potential. Embracing a personal approach to insurance sales gives candidates a leg up in this role, which includes developing strategies for promoting all types of new insurance contracts; making changes or additions to existing ones; and collecting key client information for risk profiles used to identify insurance plans for each unique individual. Responsibilities: • Develop and deliver risk management strategies for each customer based on their risk profile• Maintain and grow existing portfolios by developing and implementing effective and attentive sales strategies that cultivate long-term customer loyalty• Set meetings with new and potential clients to listen to their needs, taking into account their financial statuses and stage-of-life priorities, and present insurance plan options tailored to their individual circumstances• Update bookkeeping systems, customer records, and sales databases to report your monthly and/or quarterly progress to goals to stakeholders• Remain updated on insurance industry changes and protocols to fulfill all policy requirements and monitor insurance claims from start to finish• Maintain a database of current and potential clients • Quickly respond to sales leads as they come in• Ensure clients understand their insurance needs and coverages• Achieve sales targets • Work with a team mindset • Thrive in a fun competitive atmosphere• Work in the office Monday - Friday Qualifications: • Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, customer service skills, and analytical skills are required• Working knowledge of the insurance industry, insurance products risk management profiles, and related state and federal regulations• Some computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Office is required• Job seekers must have an insurance license• Some experience with accounting or sales lead software is beneficial• Sales experience or a client-facing background is a plus• Must be coachable• A proven track record of dependability• Excellent communication skills• Self-motivated and eager to grow/develop• Property and Casualty Licensed in the State of Texas is a plus• Insurance experience is preferred but not required Compensation: $65,000 - $100,000 yearly About Company: Our Culture: We are building a winning culture in our Farmers Agency by helping individuals like you experience success and satisfaction in the work they do.
