Hi, I’m Duke! I’m one smart dude, because I went straight to the top to get rescued - that’s right, the Executive Director of the fabulous organization trapped me! I had a leg injury, and after a vet visit I went to the Catty Shack to recover. Man, did I get the VIP treatment there! These humans are so wonderful that I decided to become a lovable boy and leave behind the street life for good! I’ve learned from the other foster kitties how to play and be a cat, and the humans say it’s adorable! I especially like wand toys and tunnels. I gotta tell you, that tunnel - it’s the best invention ever! In my down time, I like to snooze in the cat tree. I also get a gold star for being the bestest helper! I help the humans clean and feed in the shed daily. It’s an important job, and I take it very seriously - I’m in the middle of everything! All of the volunteers are going to miss me dearly, but it’s time for me to find my forever family! I’m so easygoing and I get along with everyone, so I’ll be a purrfect addition to any loving home. Oh yeah, one other thing they told me to mention…I’m also FIV+, but please don’t let that deter you! I can still live a long, full, healthy life, and with proper introductions, I can live safely with non-FIV kitties. It also means it’s even more important for me to be a strictly INDOOR kitty from now on!
